They make sure you’re healthy at every life stage and are your medical home base to guide your care, particularly if you need to see any specialists. Even if you feel well, your PCP will get a baseline of your health from annual physical exams, which provides useful comparison data in case you fall ill in the future.

You can ask for referrals from people you trust or other healthcare professionals you consult. Make sure you verify that the PCP is in-network with FHCP for the lowest copays. You may also want to check the Google reviews to get a sense of what patients have been saying about the provider you intend to see.
