Starting January 1, 2027, Florida Health Care Plans (FHCP) can securely share certain health information with your doctors through the Provider Access Application Programming Interface (API).
This gives your doctors a more complete view of your health information and can help them make more informed decisions about your care.
How sharing your health data can help
Sharing your health information can give your doctors a better understanding of your health history, including past treatments and care. Having this information available may mean more personalized care, less paperwork, and fewer delays.
You’re in control
Your Provider Access API data-sharing setting will be On starting January 1, 2027. You can choose to opt out of this data sharing at any time.
If you don’t want FHCP to share your health information through the Provider Access API, complete the form below.
