What steps is FHCP taking during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep you safe?

  • FHCP has implemented “social distancing” strategies, we encourage members to keep a distance of at least 6 feet from other individuals. This includes pharmacies, labs, and waiting areas.
  • Mask wearing in our facilities is mandated.
  • Frequent facility cleaning protocols are in place.
  • We offer virtual visits to our members via FHCP Telehealth visits with your provider or Doctor on Demand. (More information listed below.)

What should I do if I suspect I have COVID-19?

  • If you are not feeling well and you have symptoms that may include, shortness of breath, fever, or cough, please call your doctor’s office or call one of the FHCP Extended Hours Care Centers. To find the location nearest to you please call (386) 676-7198.
  • You will be prescreened over the phone.

What can I do to protect myself from COVID-19?

  • You may be able to reduce your risk of infection by washing your hands often, avoiding touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands, avoiding close contact with people who are sick, and avoiding large crowds.
  • If you have cold or flu-like symptoms, are over 65, or have chronic health issues, please remain at home while you are sick unless you feel you need to see a physician.

What if I would like to schedule a telehealth visit?

  • We offer virtual visits to our members via FHCP Telehealth visits with your provider or Doctor on Demand.
    • Telehealth visits with FHCP staff physicians do not require a copay.
    • Doctor on Demand visit copays are waived for general medical visits through July 20, 2021. .
    • Telehealth visits with non-FHCP staff physicians will require the standard office copay.
    • Connect using your computer, smartphone, or tablet (with a front facing camera). You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play or click on the Sign Up link below. Your device must have a front-facing camera. If you are connecting on the web, please use a Safari, Chrome or Firefox browser.
  • The CDC is encouraging people who are ill or at higher risk for COVID-19 remain home as much as possible, please consider filling our prescriptions with FHCP’s convenient mail order service. You will receive a three-month supply on most of your prescriptions and the shipping is free.
