FHCP provides Group Health Care Plans to members who live or work in our service area of Volusia and Flagler counties. We offer a wide array of products to serve their needs that, in addition to our traditional HMO products, we have our exclusive WorkForce Wellness (WFW) group plan. WFW is a collaborative program between local companies and FHCP that allows employers and employees to take ownership of the employees’ health. Using proven models of value-based health metrics coupled with incentive based benefit plans, employees are encouraged to take an active role in their health care to do the right things every day to optimize their health and well-being. Employers and their employees are able to find ways to manage health care costs through at work health strategies.
To maximize your freedom-of choice, select our Triple Option or Point-of-Service coverage. No referrals are necessary and members may access providers worldwide
Our high deductible Plans give you maximum control over health care expenses at the lowest cost. High deductible plans are a lower cost alternative for employee benefits, and can include fixed co-pays. And because employers and employees are directly involved in health care decision-making, they (and you) can make informed decisions about medical spending (and there may even be some tax advantages!).
Groups with two or more employees are eligible to apply to any FHCP group health plans.

FHCP FirstChoice Individual Health Insurance Plans offer affordable health coverage for residents ages 19 - 64 of Volusia and Flagler Counties.

FHCP has provided medical and prescription coverage to Medicare-eligible beneficiaries since 1981 and now FHCP offers an Optional Supplemental Point of Service benefit. In addition, we offer a Preferred Fitness Program for our Medicare members. And with the introduction of Medicare Part D for pharmacy coverage in January 2006, we are able to offer even more choices for Medicare recipients.

We were selected as the first health care delivery system for the Florida Healthy Kids program. When your child is accepted into the Healthy Kids Program, we assume the financial responsibility for all medical services outlined in the Healthy Kids member handbook. We believe that together we can keep minor medical concerns from becoming major medical problems.
