Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Program for FHCP Medicare Members
Florida Health Care Plans is pleased to offer our Medicare members a Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Program. It is our mission to support you, in your efforts to live a healthy and active life. CAM practices recognize that the connection between mind and body are important to the healing process. These therapies teach you techniques to help manage pain and reduce stress, allowing you to take a more active role in their health care.
NOTE: The products and services described below are neither offered nor guaranteed under our contract with the Medicare program. In addition, they are not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding these products and services may be subject to the Florida Health Care Plans grievance process.
Florida Health Care Plans has contracted with Doctor’s Professional Services Consultants to manage FHCP’s CAM benefit. Through this contract you will have access to providers throughout Volusia and Flagler counties that will provide the following services at a 20% discount.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
As a Florida Health Care Plans Medicare member, you will have access to the CAM discount network. You can discover and utilize CAM practices and receive discounts for services and products. (Remember, this CAM program is not a part of your health plan. You are responsible for all costs for services and supplies.)
HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
1. Review the list of participating providers on the back. Once you have found a provider you would like to use, simply call the number provided and schedule your appointment.
2. Simply present your Florida Health Care Plans Medicare member ID card when receiving services or supplies and you pay the discounted price.
